I am a culinary addict, literally. I am a chef in Portland, Oregon, and have worked in the culinary industry for 20 + years throughout the states and abroad. The first 15 years I was actively involved in my addictions. The last five years I have been sober, yet the addict will always be with me. I have 3 catagories to this blog:
1. The Addict Needs: Recipes, tips, equipment, food history, and professional applications
2. The Addict Feeds: Positive reviews on food and restaurants I like
3. The Addict Heeds: True stories from an addicted industry on what it was like, what happen, and what it is like now

So a mutual friend told me about your blog, I work for the bank so we will just say he works for duck delivery and you can figure out who it is. I look forward to reading your bog I just skimmed though today and I’m already hooked!!
I moved to Portland to go to Western Culinary, I graduated in 05’ and then got married and had a kid so I haven’t done a lot with my degree. My passion is catering; I’m hopping to get back into that SOON!!!
